Thanks for visiting my Blog!

I am an excel expert having used excel for a wide range of data analysis as a financial diligence professional. I have over a decade of experience in handling large data financial models requiring cleansing, manipulation and representation for meaningful interpretations.

I started off as a Java developer at Accenture in the beautiful city of Bangalore. Accenture gave me my first flavor of corporate experience and also provided the technical bend that was going to stick throughout my career and yield results in various shapes and forms.

My next corporate exposure was with JP Morgan in the financial capital of India, Mumbai. I got the opportunity to work in the Global Real Estate – Asset Management group at JP Morgan. Here I got the exposure to financial modelling for real estate valuation purposes. I was fortunate to be trained by some of the industry experts in the field of Commercial Real Estate and also excel modelling.

I moved to Delhi to work with Copal Partners in their Quantitative analysis team. Excel skills were the sole savior in such a role which involved organizing detailed financials of a company making it ready for analysis.

My next stint was with EY Transaction Real Estate team where I worked on some of the real estate consulting assignments requiring challenging excel modelling skills. I also worked on some of the complex valuation analysis of large commercial assets for financial reporting purposes. During my stint at EY, I also up skilled myself with an Emerging Leader’s Program by RICS giving me great exposure in the field of real estate valuation analysis.

I joined Knight Frank in the Capital Transactions Group where I assisted the transaction managers with various analysis required through financials models in excel and ppt decks required for various pitch.

My current role at Cushman & Wakefield is in the field of diligence advisory for debt on commercial real estate assets. The role is very exciting and provides me an opportunity to follow my passion of training people on various technical aspects to make them ready for handling projects. I also had the pleasure of working on a few excel model consulting assignments for some of the large real estate developers in US.

In the 10+ years of varied experience, I realize the power of excel to make tasks easy and efficient. It has yielded me benefits throughout my career. If you want to talk more about financial modelling for real estate, excel modelling techniques in general or especially data analysis for diligence advisory drop in a message or email me at Himanshu.nassa@gmail.com
